Where are you based? Lincolnshire, England. About 100 miles north of London
Do you have a shop? No, but providing we have a few days warning visitors are always welcome here to collect previously ordered items.
Do you ship overseas? Yes, we use Parcel Force Datapost for larger consignments and the Royal Mail for lighter items. There is a 2 tier price/speed/insurance level for parcels to suit most customers. But note that almost every item on this site requires an export licence to ship out of the UK. The procedure is quite painless (for the customer!) and just requires a simple letter which can be downloaded and filled in at our parent site, click here for more info

Do you buy items? Yes, of course, and take them in either way part exchange as well.
What are your opening hours? 10.30am to 6.30pm Monday to FridayUK time. Obviously requirements mean we may not be available continuously during these times but fax, e-mail and answer machine facilities are available
What is the price in my currency? Due to fluctuations in exchange rates all prices are quoted and charged in Pounds Sterling, you will need to approximate the value in your own currency, various sites exist on the web which will provide this information, or your bank will tell you.
Will I have to pay import duty? This depends on the laws in your country, EC rules mean that people living in member states may not have to worry, other countries will have their own rules. We will not under any circumstances attempt to circumvent customs regulations
Are there any products you cannot ship abroad? Basically, only those which are prohibited under international laws governing commerce and dangerous items to transport on aircraft (for example fuel based portable cookers), or those which due to their size or shape are basically impossible to freight by standard methods. We do not sell firearms or ammunition. Laws regarding deactivated weapons vary from country to country, even within the EC, and we cannot legally ship to countries with different laws to our own. Deactivated weapons are very difficult to ship now as most carriers will not take them, we can employ a specialist but this is very expensive.

What about weapons accessories and parts, do they have any restrictions? The laws in the UK concerning firearms parts are fairly ambiguous, and there are at least two interpretations. However, one thing is for sure, any item leaving this country which is associated with a weapon will need an export licence, click here for more information at our parent site. We will obtain these on your behalf if this formailty is required.
I am a UK resident, do I need any kind of licence to own inert ammo or deactivated weapons? The short answer is no, no licence is required
What payment methods can I use? We accept Visa and Mastercard, but please be aware that we add a 4.5% handling charge to the total value of these transactions, (debit cards incur a service charge of 50p) Sterling bank drafts, International Money Orders (IMO's), electronic transfers into our UK account in sterling are also acceptable. Foreign cheques can be accepted (e.g. a US dollars cheque) but there is a charge of £17 to negotiate the cheque and it can take up to 4 weeks to confirm that the cheque has been irrevocably cleared. Cash in Pounds Sterling is also acceptable but not recommended by post! For UK customers Postal Orders are also OK.
How long does it take to despatch items? For those that we have large stocks, normally a few days, but please allow 21 days. One off items can take a little longer as we sometimes have to locate them within our mobile fairs stock. Items requiring an export licence can around a month.
